Mouse Trap BOM 2025
Remember the board game Mouse Trap? Where you had to successfully navigate through a series of ‘mouse traps’ to win the game. That’s the inspiration behind this modern quilt pattern!
It’s designed as a skill builder that focuses on learning several piecing techniques (curves, angles, working with templates, etc.), and offers lots of composition play with no less than 4 abstract layouts and 3 block layouts to play with. To help guide and encourage participation, I’ll be hosting a quilt along that officially kicks off on January 15, 2025, and runs through January 14, 2026, but I’ll be opening up pre-sales on December 1, 2024, to give participants time to order their fabric and get their supplies organized.
Mouse Trap Quilt
The Mouse Trap quilt is made up of 12 unique modern quilt blocks that focus on different geometric shapes. The fun is playing with those shapes to create new abstract ‘mouse trap’ layouts.
Mouse Trap Quilt Versions
The pattern includes 4 abstract versions, 3 block layouts, and the option to ‘design your own’. Here is a quick overview of the different layouts.
