The holidays are juuuust around the corner and, if you’re anything like me, then you’re in full-on Christmas prep mode. Gift lists have been made, presents purchased, and on their way. Now for the real fun of lighting the Christmas tree, cranking the carols, and pulling out all the festive Refracted Star wrapping paper to make the gifting season extra special this year!
Refracted Star Wrapping Paper is available here.
Backstory
Did I ever tell you that I was the designated gift wrapper in my household? I absolutely love wrapping gifts. I especially love adding the decorative ribbon and curling them just so 😉 I managed to convince my mum that it was ok for her to wrap my gifts but to leave the ribbons to me – ha! That’s how much I love this step in the gift-giving process.
So, I suppose it’s not that surprising that since I spend so much time designing patterns, that my curiosity would expand into surface pattern design.
It really started when I shared some mock-ups of the Refracted Star Quilt Block in a chat with some quilty friends, and one mentioned how amazing it would look as holiday wrapping paper! The idea got me super excited and so, after some research, I found a place to have some printed.
Refracted Star Wrapping Paper
The great news is that you can add a modern quilty touch to your gifts this holiday season too!
The Refracted Star Wrapping Paper is available in two finishes – matte and satin – making this paper perfect for adding that special holiday touch!
The gift wrap is available in individual sheets of paper that measure 30” x 20”, which are rolled and shipped in a circular tube. I was super reassured by this, as you know how quickly things get damaged during shipping.
There’re two colourways for you to choose from and both are festive without feeling Christmas specific. Bonus – since this means you can use any leftovers for another special occasion throughout the year 😊

Just a quick heads up that it took at least a full week for the Refracted Star Wrapping Paper to ship to me, so be sure to order early.
Happy gift wrapping!
