Introducing The Quilter’s Life Summit

The Quilter’s Life Summit is a free virtual event for quilters of all skill levels. It’s meant as a way to bring us together to focus on how we can incorporate more joy and creativity in our quilting!

Where it’s happening

The Quilter’s Life Summit is happening online, so you can tune in from the comfort of your home.

All you need is a reliable internet connection to stream the lectures.

Who’s teaching

There are over 30 teachers who will be sharing their knowledge and tips with you, including:

  • Lisa Calle – take the fear out of free-motion quilting feathers
  • Becky Jorgenson – Simple strategies to tackle your WIPs and actually finish them 😉
  • Carolina Moore – Fresh ideas to spark inspiration and help you use the fabric you already have
  • HollyAnne Knight – How to master ruler quilting on a domestic machine (and finally start that quilt!)
  • Nic from Craftapalooza – Simple techniques to make quilting feel effortless

Plus, so many more (including me!).  😊

Who can participate

Everyone is invited!

Whether you’ve been quilting up a storm for years or just dipping your toes into the quilty pool, this event is for you!

Where do I sign up?

You can sign up for the free event here!

Topics that will be covered

There’s a wide range of topics that will be covered in The Quilter’s Life Summit, including:

  • Making the most of your scraps
  • Step-by-step guide for planning and designing a quilted coat
  • Ruler quilting made simple
  • How to tackle your WIPs without overwhelm
  • How to design a foundation paper piecing pattern in Adobe Illustrator
  • Making quilted jewelry

And so much more!

What I’m teaching

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time evaluating my quilting practice to ensure that I’m focusing my time on projects that keep me engaged and fired up. This can be challenging, especially when life gets crazy busy.

This is why I wanted to take some time to share how I approach my creative practice and the thought process I went through in setting up my sewing routines.

With so much inspiration out there, it can feel super overwhelming, and you start to feel like you’re not making enough. Or is that just me?!

In the Are You a Fast or Slow Quilter? How to Set a Creative Rhythm lecture I’m pulling back the curtains and sharing how I’ve been feeling in my quilting practice, the decisions I’m making to ensure I’m harnessing my creative fire and making what gets me excited and keeps me engaged. I started quilting because it brought me joy and I don’t want to ever lose sight of that.

I’m also sharing a handy download to help guide you through questions to help you establish your own creative rhythm!

Can I get access to the recordings?

Yes! The lecture recordings will be available through May 9, 2025, at midnight Pacific time, and if you’d like lifetime access, then you can upgrade to the VIP Pass. Some extra goodies that come with the pass, including exclusive discounts.

The Quilters Life Summit is so powerful. It’s a dedicated time and space to focus on your quilting. No distractions. No excuses. Just you, your creativity, and a community of quilters cheering you on.

The event kicks off at 11:45 EDT today with the Summit Introduction/Perfectionist Recovery: How to Break Free from “All or Nothing” Thinking.

Register here for free!

Hope to see you there 😊
