Spreading quilty joy one stitch at a time!

Sharing a Love for Quilting

August 7, 2016 by Shannon 4 Comments

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure, along with a
couple of my Montreal Modern Quilt Guild members, of sitting one evening on a park bench
being interviewed about all things quilty! A reporter for the local French newspaper LaPresse had reached out to our guild to ask us to share about our experiences
quilting.
I love chatting about all things quilty and I was thrilled
to be able to share about my experience and encourage others to give quilting a
try.
We were asked to bring along a few quilt examples for their
photographer to snap and I’m so excited that the first quilt I ever made was
featured on the cover!! Yayyyy J

It was funny because I was scrolling through my Facebook
feed when all of a sudden I see this colourful quilt and then realized it was
mine!!! Hahaha!
Doesn’t she look pretty?
Here is the link to the French article which aims to raise awareness and encourage others to give quilting a go.
A special thank you to Stephanie and Izzy who reached out to
ask me if I would be willing to participate. So happy I did!
xo
