Calling All Pattern Testers

August 3, 2017 by Shannon Leave a Comment

Quilt pattern testers wanted | Shannon Fraser Designs | Modern Quilting
My quilty friends! I need your help 😊

Have you seen all the sneak peaks I’ve been sharing on
Instagram for my new pattern in the works? Some of you have commented on just how tiny
those pieces have gotten! But rest assured, the pattern comes together super
fast due to all that chain piecing. Oh, yeah! Who doesn’t love a good chain
piecing session? Stacks of blocks zooming through your machine while you
happily listen to your favourite tunes or podcast (here are some
of my faves). Good times!
And, you’ll have lots of fun dreaming up the different
colourways you could use. So many options!! Just you wait and see!

Not only do I have the Plus Infinity quilt pattern in the
works, but I also have a couple of others that I need to finalize. So, instead of
reaching out for new pattern testers for every single one, I thought it would be
fun to create a small community of pattern testers!
That way we can get to know one another too! Quilty besties
here we come!
Interested? Yay!
Here’s how it will all go down.
You sign up to be a pattern tester here letting
me know you’re interested in being added to the list.
I’ll send you an email confirming you’re in!
When I have a new pattern coming out, I’ll send you an email
letting you know which project is up and the timelines for feedback.
That’s it! How easy is that?!
Plus, you’ll get the first look at a new quilt pattern
coming out. And get to make it before anyone else šŸ˜‰

If you’re too busy or are not interested in the pattern, all
you have to do is say ā€œSorry, Shannon, things are too crazy over here. I’ll
catch you next time!ā€. Or, you know, something like that šŸ˜‰

There is absolutely no obligation to participate each time.
Easy peasy, right?
Great! Sign up here and let’s get
talking quilty math!!
Happy quilting my friends!
xo
Shannon

Machine quilting at home is a skill that grows with every quilt you make. I’m sharing the lessons I learned while quilting my Cloud Surfing quilt on a domestic sewing machine, including planning quilting lines, working with a guide bar, basting, lighting and learning to embrace the imperfect parts along the way. #MachineQuilting #DomesticMachineQuilting #QuiltingTips #ModernQuilting #QuiltingAtHome

Machine quilting at home takes practice! See what I learned quilting my Cloud Surfing quilt, from planning and basting to building confidence one line at a time.

My quilting pressing routine has become much smoother thanks to a few favourite tools. Read how a larger wool pressing mat fits into my everyday sewing setup. #WoolPressingMat #QuiltingTools #QuiltingTips #QuiltTips

A year after upgrading to a larger wool pressing mat, I’m sharing whether I still love it, how it’s holding up, and the pressing tools I reach for most.
