Spreading quilty joy one stitch at a time!

Father’s Day Gift Ideas 2015

June 9, 2015 by Shannon Leave a Comment

With Father’s Day quickly approaching, I thought I would share some of my go to gift ideas.
The men in my family love gardening, BBQing and golfing!  So it makes sense that my list would cater to these 3 areas 😉
First up are some gifts for the garden enthusiast:
I love all the seeds offered by Cubits and these heirloom tomatoes would be perfect to add some variety to the usual tomato seeds and plants you see at the market.
Via
These pretty handmade garden stakes would be perfect for keeping track of all the goodies planted.  They are handmade from a creamy vanilla colored clay with various
coloured glazed tips.  Each name is individually printed into the clay.
Available from Paulova’s Etsy shop.
Via
For all the BBQ enthusiasts out there, this 8 piece personalized grill tool set would certainly make any BBQ enthusiast proud!  Available from Teals Prairie Etsy Shop.
Via
This gift is the perfect combo for the wine and BBQ lover!  These wine-soaked oak strips from Wine Country Craftsman are cut from retired Napa Valley wine barrels and are sure to add a unique smoky-wine infused flavour to meats and fish.
Via
Whether BBQing or whipping something up in the kitchen, my handmade linen apron is sure to keep the chef nice and clean from any spills or splatters.
Via
To help cool off after a day in the garden or to keep you hydrated while BBQing, I know a few men in my family that would enjoy this Bloody Mary seasoning gift box from Old Town Spice Shop.
Via
For any golf enthusiasts, this zip pouch I recently made is perfect for storing essentials such as sunscreen, hand wipes, golf gloves, extra golf balls and tees in the cart for easy access.
Via
And to finish off your gift why not include a handmade card to make it extra special!
Kristi from Cards to Inspire has some awesome handmade cards and this one I thought was genius for Father’s Day.
Via
Darveelicious on Etsy offers this card in either French or English.
Via
I plan on hosting a big family brunch for this father’s day – cooking up a feast always seems to be a real hit with my dad.
I look forward to hearing how you plan on celebrating the special men in your life!
xo
